Just in time for Christmas! My boyfriend and I had been hesitant to buy our first home during the pandemic, so when we first connected with Chantel Nightingale at the end of October we had told her we probably wouldn't be ready to purchase until the spring. But we decided to look at some houses that were currently on the market so she could get a feel for what we were looking for. As we walked through some houses, Chantel had a keen eye for pointing out where we might need to spend extra money down the line (upgrading fuse panels, septic systems, signs of water damage, etc.). When we came across a house we really liked, we discussed our pros and cons list with her and she ran through her evaluation on the house, giving her honest opinion on the maximum amount we should pay for the property. She made us feel confident with a starting offer and setting conditions for a home inspection. We decided to set a closing date for early December, which would get us in the house before Christmas (so much for not buying until the spring)…With an accepted offer Chantel quickly got in contact with home inspectors and even ran out to the property to get a water test while we were working. Chantel Nightingale went above and beyond for us and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor with expertise and knowledge when it comes to buying and selling a home.
